Almost 81 years ago, 22 sticks of dynamite couldn't stop my bloodline
After some serious digging today, I discovered that over 81 years ago my great grandmother her daughter and granddaughter were attacked by a family member. He had enough of my great grandmother and decided to settle their dispute with serious fire power. He filled my great grandfather’s home with 22 sticks of dynamite and stood across the street with the fuse as it exploded.
I was surprised how many newspapers picked up the story back in 1928. Perhaps because of the relationship of the husband and mother-in-law and the stigmas around that relationship. Newspapers today would have run the story in their Oddly Enough sections, right next to “Baby drives motorcycle off cliff… Performs backflip.”
Because it is the holiday season I was reminded of It’s A Wonderful Life. Let’s say that bomb had gone off and my great grandmother was murdered before she gave birth to my grandfather. In a parallel universe, I don’t exist, because a madman married my great great aunt and blew up her house.
I’ve been pretty busy with video editing related things but here are some beats that I have been working on.
The first is reminiscent of a larger then life Diddy track. There is even a sample from … well you can probably guess where it comes from.

The next is a more Dr. Dre chronic-era inspired track with a new orleans feel to it.

Recently, my girlfriend made a spec ad campaign for a fictional cleaning company. Â She wanted me to fool around with digital urine… here’s what happened after an hour. Â I tracked my body and then created a particle to shoot off of that. Â Some of the masking could be more clean and the angle at which it is shooting could be more accurate. Â
